Zimbabwean First Lady Blames Women For Rape Cases

Mrs. Mugabe speaking in public said ‘moral decadence’ and indecent dressing is the main reason women get raped. She said “If you walk around wearing mini skirts displaying your thighs and inviting men to drool over you, then you want to complain when you have been raped? It’s unfortunate because it will be your fault.”

Speaking as she addressed the women’s league of The Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF), she added that women should look to Mai Mugabe for dressing inspiration, “Wear clothes like Mai Mugabe or you can chose a trousers, but not those which are too tight.
